Apr 16, 2024

In this episode of the Joyful Health Show Kasey interviews Licensed Professional Counselor Katie Deans about self-regulation. Katie is trained in and practices Trust Based Relational  Intervention (TBRI) with children and parents in her practice. Through using this approach she has come to understand the importance of regulation for our mental, physical, relational and spiritual health.

In This Episode We Discuss:

  1. What healthy regulation is
  2. How our ability to regulate impacts us physically, mentally, relationally and spiritually
  3. Practical tips for growing in self-regulation

We pray this episode empowers you to step away from shame and into a place of safety and peace with the Lord. For:

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He is mindful that we are dust.Psalm 103: 13 - 14
